We pay the lab ourselves for every test we publish.

We earn nothing when you buy. No affiliate links, no coupon codes, no paid placement.

We test samples we buy and samples suppliers send, label which is which, and publish every outcome. Each result shows third-party findings on identity, purity, and net content in mg.

Why Investigate Peptides

Independent by design.

We pay the lab ourselves for every test we publish, and we earn nothing when you buy.

  • No affiliate money

We earn nothing when you buy. No affiliate links, no coupon codes, no paid placement.

  • Our own lab orders

Every result comes from a vial we pulled, labeled and sent to the lab ourselves — never from a supplier’s own paperwork. Each result says whether we bought the kit or the supplier sent it.

  • Published cutoffs

Our A–F cutoffs are published. Check any grade against the lab’s numbers yourself.

  • Milligrams count

A 99% pure vial that’s 15% short on milligrams still gets marked down.

  • Lab findings first

We publish what the lab found, even when it disagrees with another site.

  • Traceable records

Every result shows the lot (or that none was printed on the box), the test dates and the original lab report.

  • Open to everyone

Free, no account, no paywall. Every COA opens in one click.

Ownership. Our founder also operates other businesses, including one in the research supply space. Those businesses are never tested, listed, or promoted here, and every brand we test is graded on the same published scale.

Our process

A traceable path from vial to report.

A supplier’s own COA can’t tell you what a particular vial contains. So we pull vials from kits we buy or that suppliers send, ship them to a lab ourselves, and show you what came back.

  1. 01

    Source

Buy the kit or receive it from the supplier, and record the supplier, product, lot (or that none is printed), manufacture date and price paid, if any. Any kit sent free is labeled Supplied by vendor.

  2. 02

    Sample

Photograph the kit, pull one vial, label it with an IP sample number, and keep the remaining vials as retest backups.

  3. 03

    Submit

Ship it to the lab and record the lab order, packing slip and requested tests.

  4. 04

    Grade & publish

Post identity, purity and net content with the original lab report, photos and an A–F grade on our published scale — whatever the outcome.

  5. 05

    Retest & cross-check

Retest from backup vials when a result is disputed, and show reports side by side when the same lot is tested at a second lab.

Labeled sourcing

Each result says whether we bought the kit or the supplier sent it free. Either way, we pay the lab.

Documented handling

Each record includes intake photos of the kit and labeled vial, the lab order number and the original lab report.

Every outcome

Failures and inconclusive findings stay public. When the same lot is tested at more than one lab, the reports will be linked.

Support the work

Help fund independent testing.

Contributions help cover samples, laboratory fees, shipping, and public documentation. Funding does not influence which outcomes we publish.
